With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, on Friday, April 10, the Official Delegation of the Metropolis of Chișinău and All Moldova was received in audience by His Beatitude Theophilos III, Patriarch of Jerusalem and All Palestine.
With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, on the evening of Thursday, April 9, 2026, His Grace Siluan, Bishop of Orhei and Vicar of the Metropolis of Moldova, celebrated the service of Matins with the reading of the Twelve Gospels of the Holy Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ.

With the blessing of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, the Holy Light from the Tomb of the Lord will be brought to the Republic of Moldova by the Vicar Bishop, His Grace Filaret of Căpriana, who is currently traveling to Israel.
Traditionally, during Holy Week, in anticipation of the Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord, on Wednesday, April 8, the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, blessed the Paschal offerings at the “Franzeluța” Bakery Plant in Chișinău.
By the mercy of God, this year as well, despite the existing difficulties in the Near East, the Metropolis of Moldova has succeeded in making all the necessary preparations for bringing the Holy Light from Jerusalem.
On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, numerous clergy and faithful gathered at the “Holy Great Martyr George” Church in Chițcanii Vechi village, Telenești district, to accompany on his final earthly journey the newly departed Archpriest Mitred Vladimir Lai.
His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, celebrated on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Metropolitan Cathedral “Nativity of the Lord” in the capital, the Divine Liturgy dedicated to the great Feast of the Annunciation.
