With the blessing of His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chișinău and All Moldova, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, His Grace Filaret, Bishop of Căpriana and Metropolitan Vicar, officiated the service of the consecration of the Holy Table and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Parish of Saint Great Martyr George in Geamăna village, Anenii Noi District.
Concelebrating with His Grace were parish priest David Turtureanu; priest Bartolomeu Turtureanu, Dean of Ungheni; priest Mihail Lungu, Dean of Bender; priest Viorel Rusu, Secretary of the Anenii Noi Deanery; together with a gathering of priests and deacons.
During the Little Entrance, by the blessing of His Eminence Vladimir, the parish, priest David, was distinguished by His Grace Filaret with the right to celebrate the Divine Liturgy with the Royal Doors open until the Lord’s Prayer, “Our Father,” in recognition of his pastoral ministry and devoted efforts for the benefit of the Holy Church.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, His Grace Filaret conveyed a message of congratulations to the parish priest and the residents of the village, encouraging them to preserve the Orthodox faith, love for the Church, and unity in Christ.
