On the Sunday after the Baptism of the Lord and the feast of the Holy Martyr Tatiana, His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chișinău and of All Moldova, celebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at the Metropolitan Cathedral “The Nativity of the Lord” in Chișinău.

On Monday, January 19, 2026, His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chișinău and All Moldova, held a meeting with the delegation of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy (IAO), led by Mr. Maximos Charakopoulos, Member of the Hellenic Parliament and Secretary General of the IAO.
On Sunday, January 18, 2026, on the Eve of the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir officiated the Divine Liturgy at the Metropolitan Cathedral “Nativity of the Lord” in the municipality of Chișinău, joined in prayer by Archpriest Vadim Cheibaș, Secretary of the Metropolis and Ecclesiarch of the Cathedral, together with the clergy and the faithful of the holy church.
Like the Magi who once brought gifts to the Infant Jesus, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, the clergy and volunteers of the Orthodox Church of Moldova offered gifts to hundreds of socially vulnerable children and families throughout the country, within the framework of the philanthropic campaign “At Christmas, You Become Better!”, 7th edition. The campaign is organized and coordinated this year as well by the Synodal Department for Social Activity and Charity, with the aim of bringing hope, comfort, and joy into the hearts of its beneficiaries. In this context, social and philanthropic activities were carried out in several parishes across the country, on the occasion of the Feast of the Nativity of the Lord and that of Saint Basil the Great.
