His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, read on Wednesday evening the third part of the Canon of Repentance of St. Andrew of Crete at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Nativity of the Lord in Chișinău.
On Wednesday, 25 February, His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chișinău and All Moldova, celebrated the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts united with Vespers at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Chișinău.
On the second day of Great Lent, Tuesday, 24 February, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated the second part of the Great Canon of Repentance of St. Andrew of Crete at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Nativity of the Lord in Chișinău.
Four years after the outbreak of the military conflict in Ukraine, the Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, together with the entire clergy and faithful people, expresses its full solidarity and fraternal support for Metropolitan Onufriy and the faithful people of Ukraine, offering fervent prayers to God for peace, steadfastness in faith, and the preservation of church unity in these times of great trial and suffering.

On the evening of the Sunday of the Expulsion of Adam from Paradise, February 22, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, officiated the Vespers service and the Rite of Forgiveness at the Metropolitan Cathedral “Nativity of the Lord” in Chișinău.

On Saturday, 21 February 2026, with the blessing of His Eminence Vladimir, Metropolitan of Chișinău and All Moldova, His Grace Bishop Nicolae of Ceadîr-Lunga, Vicar of the Diocese of Cahul and Comrat, celebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at the Monastery of St. Theodore Tiron (Ciuflea) in the capital.
On the Feast of the Holy Three Hierarchs, Thursday, February 12, 2026, His Grace Siluan, Bishop of Orhei, Vicar of the Metropolis of Chișinău and All Moldova, celebrated the Holy Liturgy at Hirova Monastery. Concelebrating with His Grace were Archimandrite Irinarh (Rusu), the Monastery’s Spiritual Father, together with a host of clergy.
With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, on the Feast of the Holy Three Hierarchs, His Grace Bishop Filaret of Căpriana, Vicar Bishop, celebrated the Holy and Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the patronal feast of the Orthodox Theological Academy and the Orthodox Theological Seminary “St. Hierarch Gavriil” in Chișinău.
On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the House of Culture in the village of Sipoteni, Călărași District, the Annual General Assembly of the priests of the Diocese of Ungheni and Nisporeni was held, chaired by His Eminence PETRU, Archbishop of Ungheni and Nisporeni.
On Monday, January 26, 2026, on the feast day of Saint Venerable Irinarh the Recluse of Rostov, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, His Grace Bishop Filaret, Vicar Bishop, officiated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at the “Dormition of the Mother of God” Monastery in Țigănești.

When You were baptized in the Jordan, O Lord, the worship of the Holy Trinity was revealed; for the voice of the Father bore witness to You, calling You His beloved Son, and the Spirit, in the form of a dove, confirmed the truth of His word.
