With the blessing of God, for the 24th consecutive year, the Holy Light from the Tomb of the Lord has been brought to our country.
This evening, the Holy Light was brought to the Republic of Moldova by the official delegation of the Metropolis of Chișinău and All Moldova.
His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, Primate of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, accompanied by hierarchs, clergy, and faithful gathered from all regions, received the Holy Light at the Triumphal Arch in Chișinău.
In his address, the Primate of our Church gave thanks to the Good God for the precious gift of the Holy Light, bestowed once again this year upon a world tried by the hardships of these times. At the same time, he expressed gratitude to His Grace Filaret for his efforts, as well as to Mr. Ion Curmei for his support and involvement in organizing the bringing of the Holy Light to our country.
Subsequently, the Holy Light was distributed to the clergy and faithful present, to be taken to parishes and monasteries throughout our Church, for the spiritual joy of all.
