On the morning of Friday, June 26, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated the Akathist Service of the Protection of the Mother of God before the Icon of the Mother of God of Hîrbovăț — Protectress of Moldova — at the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Nativity of the Lord in Chișinău.
Joining the Archpastor in prayer were Archpriest Mitred Vadim Cheibaș, Metropolitan Secretary and Ecclesiarch of the Cathedral; Archpriest Mitred Anatolie Stefanov, Dean of Ialoveni; the clergy of the Metropolitan Cathedral; together with a host of priests and deacons from Chișinău, as well as the faithful gathered in prayer.
The Akathist Service of the Protection of the Mother of God, before the Icon of the Mother of God of Hîrbovăț, is celebrated every Friday at 7:00 a.m.
