On Monday, April 13, 2026, the second day of the celebration of the Resurrection of Christ (Bright Monday), the faithful gathered at the Metropolitan Cathedral “Nativity of the Lord” in Chișinău to share in the great joy of Pascha together with His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, and the Vicar Bishops His Grace Siluan of Orhei and His Grace Filaret of Căpriana, along with the clergy of the cathedral.
The liturgical responses were offered by the cathedral’s mixed choir, conducted by Mrs. Angela Angheni, as well as by the children’s choir led by Presbytera Teodora Burlac.
Following the Divine Liturgy, a procession took place around the Cathedral, during which the four festal Gospel readings were proclaimed, followed by a Te Deum of thanksgiving. At the conclusion, Metropolitan Vladimir extended Paschal greetings to all those present, noting the remarkable number of faithful who, despite physical fatigue, participated in the service of the Paschal night.
On this day of profound spiritual joy, His Eminence was greeted by His Grace Siluan on behalf of the Synod of the Orthodox Church of Moldova, expressing gratitude for the care and blessings he continually offers to the faithful both in our country and beyond.
