With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, on Bright Friday, April 17, 2026, His Grace Filaret, Bishop of Căpriana and Metropolitan Vicar, celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the “Saint Nicholas” Church in the village of Gura Bîcului, Anenii Noi district.
Concelebrating with the hierarch were priest Viorel Rusu, Secretary of the Anenii Noi Deanery, and priest Tudor Codiță, parish priest of the church, together with a host of priests from the deanery.
In his homily, His Grace conveyed the message of joy of the Feast of the Resurrection of the Lord, encouraging the faithful to keep their faith alive through prayer, love, and good deeds, bearing witness in their lives to Christ the Risen One.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, a procession took place around the church, followed by a Te Deum service for health.
On behalf of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, the hierarch awarded the “Saint Blessed Agafia of Cușelăuca” Medal to the presbyteras (priests’ wives) of the Anenii Noi Deanery, as a sign of high appreciation and gratitude for their dedication and involvement in the life and mission of the Church.
