His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir Celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the “Saint Venerable Parascheva” Church in Văsieni, Ialoveni District

On Saturday, April 18, His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the “Saint Venerable Parascheva” Church in the village of Văsieni, Ialoveni district, following the completion of the interior painting of the church.

Concelebrating with the Primate were: priest Vadim Cheibaș, Metropolitan Secretary; priest Anatolie Stefanov, Dean of Ialoveni; priest Eugen Sprîncean, parish priest of the church; together with a host of priests and deacons.

The responses at the festal service were sung by the choir of the “Saint Prince Vladimir” Monastery in Horești.

During the Little Entrance, the parish priest, priest Eugen, was awarded the right to wear the mitre. Also, priest Petru Pisica, Secretary of the Ialoveni Deanery, on the occasion of his 50th birthday, was awarded the Order “Right-Believing Voivode Stephen the Great and Holy” (Second Class), and priest Oleg Ursu, parish priest of the “Saint Venerable Parascheva” Church in Ialoveni, received the Order “Ecclesiastical Merit” (Second Class), in recognition of their dedicated service to the faithful and their parishes.

Following the Divine Liturgy, a memorial service (lity) was held, along with the blessing of the monument of Father Constantin Ursu, founder of this church. This was followed by a procession around the church and a Te Deum service of thanksgiving and prayer for health, offered to the Good God for the abundant blessings bestowed upon His faithful people.

His Eminence delivered a homily, in which he addressed words of congratulations and gratitude to all those present who contributed to the adornment and restoration of the holy church.

In turn, the parish priest expressed his gratitude to His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, the clergy, public authorities, chanters, and benefactors for their prayerful presence, support, sacrifice, and participation in the celebration dedicated to the consecration and renewal of the church.
