On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the House of Culture in the village of Sipoteni, Călărași District, the Annual General Assembly of the priests of the Diocese of Ungheni and Nisporeni was held, chaired by His Eminence PETRU, Archbishop of Ungheni and Nisporeni.
The proceedings of the Assembly began with a word of greeting and blessing delivered by His Eminence, who emphasized the responsibility of priestly ministry, highlighting the spiritual, social, and administrative duties of the priest in parish life. Subsequently, Archpriest Vadim Corostinschi, Diocesan Secretary, presented the agenda and also offered a brief report on the Hierarch’s activity carried out during the year 2025.
During the Assembly, the programs and activity projects planned for the current year, 2026, were submitted for discussion.
The General Assembly was also attended by two councilors from each parish, in order to become acquainted with the themes and topics addressed.
