On Monday, January 26, 2026, on the feast day of Saint Venerable Irinarh the Recluse of Rostov, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, His Grace Bishop Filaret, Vicar Bishop, officiated the Holy and Divine Liturgy at the “Dormition of the Mother of God” Monastery in Țigănești.
Concelebrating with the hierarch were: the Very Reverend Archimandrite Irinarh (Costru), abbot of the monastery; the Very Reverend Archimandrite Vladimir (Poia), abbot of the Butuceni Monastery; together with a host of serving priests and deacons.
In his sermon, His Grace emphasized the call of our Savior Jesus Christ to repentance and inner renewal as the path to salvation and to the attainment of the Kingdom of Heaven, presenting Saint Irinarh the Recluse of Rostov—commemorated on this day—as a model of spiritual life.
At the conclusion of the service, Bishop Filaret conveyed to the honored father the message of congratulations and blessing from His Eminence Metropolitan Vladimir, wishing him health, strength, and the help of Saint Venerable Irinarh.
